    How To Undisable iPad in 3 Different Ways Easily

    How to Undisable iPad

    iPad gives the comfort of accessing things on a slightly wider screen and is therefore termed a tablet computer. Apple includes the strongest security system on all its devices, and the iPad is no exception. Most iPad users would have set a passcode to prevent it from unauthorized user access. It is mandatory to enter the right security code to use the iPad. Entered the wrong passcode too many times will disable your device permanently. It is the most common scenario if your iPad has been stolen and someone tries to unlock it. Fortunately, it is possible to undisable the device and gets the issue fixed. If you are in any such scenario, you shall proceed with this article to know how to undisable iPad in a couple of ways.

    Important Note: Undisabling the iPad will delete all your personal data and files. If you haven’t backed up the iPad in a while, you cannot get back the files.

    How To Undisable iPad

    We have listed the three different methods in which you can undisable the iPad.

    • iTunes
    • iCloud
    • Recovery Mode

    Undisable iPad using iTunes

    iTunes comes to the rescue whenever you deal with some issues on an iOS device. You can get back your iPad if it has been disabled with iTunes if you follow the steps given below.

    1. Use a USB cable and connect your iPad with the PC you have sync.

    2. Launch iTunes on the previously sync iPad. If you are prompted to enter the passcode of the iPad, skip to the Recovery Mode procedure.

    3. Allow the sync and backup process to complete, and it may take a few minutes. If sync doesn’t take place, use the Recovery mode.

    4. Tap on the iPad icon on the iTunes window.

    5. Choose Restore iPad on the iTunes pop-up.

    6. Go ahead and tap on the Back-Up button when iTunes doesn’t perform an automatic backup.

    7. Click on the Restore button and wait for your iPad to restore.

    8. With this, you shall need to start with the setup process.

    9. Choose Restore from iTunes backup and choose the backup list.

    10. Select the backup you want to restore on the iPad.

    11. Tap on the Restore button on the pop-up.

    12. Allow the restoring process to end to reaccess the iPad.

    Undisable iPad using iCloud

    If you have access to the iCloud account on iPad and Find My iPad enabled, it is easy to undisable your iPad and get back its access.

    1. Launch a browser on any other device and visit icloud.com/find.

    2. Enter the Apple ID and password used on your iPad to sign in to your iCloud account on your iPad.

    3. Make a click on the All Devices drop-down and select the iPad you want to undisable.

    Note: If your iPad isn’t connected to WiFi, you should use the Recovery Mode.

    4. Hover to click on the Erase iPad available at the bottom-right.

    5. On the Erase this iPad pop-up, select Erase.

    6. Wait for your iPad to erase, and you shall proceed with the setup process.

    7. On the Restore From Backup pop-up, select Restore.

    Undisable iPad using Recovery Mode

    The last possible way in which you can undisable your iPad is to use the recovery mode.

    1. Firstly, connect your iPhone with your PC using a USB cable.

    2. Go ahead and launch iTunes on your computer.

    3. Now, press and hold the Power and Home button of your iPad.

    4. Continue holding the buttons until you see the dark screen followed by the Apple logo and the iTunes logo.

    5. Gently release the buttons and select the Restore button when the iPad enters the recovery mode.

    6. Allow the restore process to complete in a few minutes.

    7. Once done, you should proceed with setting up your iPad.

    8. Select Restore if you have a previous backup available on iCloud.
